OPP raid home operating an illegal cannabis dispensary

Huronia West OPP say they executed a search warrant recently at a home that was operating an illegal cannabis dispensary called  ‘Chronic The Hedge Hog’.

According to several local media reports, Officers from Huronia West OPP, along with the provincial joint-forces Cannabis Enforcement Unit arrested three and seized more than $80,000 in cannabis products, including cannabis, “cannabis resin”, edibles, and shatter. 

Huronia West OPP did not release the names of those arrested. They all face charges of possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling and distribution.

Weedmaps lists a business called Chronic the Hedgehog it says is located in Wasaga Beach, ON, an area serviced by the Huronia West OPP detachment. The business’ website was still live as of Thursday afternoon, displaying an array of cannabis products and brands.

The Ontario Provincial Police have also released info on numerous raids of cannabis farms across the province, seizing millions of dollars worth of product.
