
Waterloo Regional Police seized 3,500 cannabis plants while completing a search warrant on May 21 in Kitchener, Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Cultivate, propagate or harvest any cannabis plant at a place that is not their dwelling house
The accused will appear in court on June 27, 2025.
The search warrant was executed with members of Waterloo Regional Police’s Drugs and Firearms Unit, with the assistance of the Kitchener Fire Department.
The search was completed at a commercial building in the area of Borden Avenue South and Charles Street East, a commercial and industrial region of the city. Kitchener is located about 100 km west of Toronto.
