Completion of the Arrangement remains subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions, including certain outstanding regulatory approvals. Subject to the satisfaction or waiver of all of the conditions to the closing of the Arrangement, the Arrangement is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.

Cookies is set to collect $22.7 million from a nationwide retail partner that failed to pay agreed-upon royalties and misused the company’s recognizable intellectual property to raise capital, according to a final arbitration ruling. But that partner—a company called Cookies Retail, which owns and operates several dozen Cookies-branded marijuana stores throughout the United States—is attempting to undo the ruling in court.
Israeli cannabis cultivation companies filed an administrative petition with the Jerusalem District Court, demanding that the Finance Minister’s veto of the Economy Minister’s decision to impose a 165% tax on the import of medical cannabis from Canada be overturned.
