ProgenyBio / CanGenX Biotech
By taking samples of a plant and sending it in as a tissue culture sample, ProgenyBio could then ‘clean’ the plants of various negative pathogens that can affect plant health and productivity, before returning a fully rooted sample the grower could then continue to grow out.
Inplanta Biotechnology
Located on campus at the University of Lethbridge in southern Alberta, Inplanta Biotechnology is home to three small greenhouses and several breeding rooms and labs. It bills itself as providing cannabis genetics, breeding and research services primarily to commercial growers at the moment.
