Ontario Provincial Police in Southern Georgian Bay OPP say authorities seized 9,200 cannabis plants, along with clones and dried flower in a raid on April 20.
In a media release, the OPP says they visited a farm on Concession Road 6 East, Tiny Township on April 19, 2021 to investigate a number of complaints from area residents of a possible cannabis grow operation.
The following day, the the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET), along with the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and OPP executed a search warrant on the property. Law enforcement seized 9207 Cannabis plants, 2448 clones, 80 lbs of Cannabis bud, and a loaded and insecure .22 calibre rifle.
At this time no charges have been issued and the investigation continues.
