Health Canada has issued a recall for a ten-pack of pre-rolls they say could contain metal pieces of wire.

To date, neither the producer, WPCP Ltd., or Health Canada have received any complaints related to the recalled lot nor have they received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled cannabis product lot.

The pre-rolls, one lot of WPCP Ltd.’s KUSHKRAFT Hybrid Blue Iguana Pre-rolls, which were sold through authorized retailers in Saskatchewan. Wayne Patrick Consumers Products LTD (WPCP) was formerly known as Beleave Kannabis.

Health Canada says consumers should verify whether their product is affected. If consumers wish to return affected product, they should contact the retail store where the product was purchased.

1,912 units of the recalled product were sold between May 13 and June 18, 2021, and was distributed by Weed Pool Cannabis Cooperative Ltd. Weed Pool is a co-operative of independently-owned Saskatchewan cannabis retailers representing more than 50% of licensed cannabis sales in the province. It is a cannabis wholesaler licensed by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
