Truro recalls one lot of CBD vape pens due to labelling error

| Staff

Truro Cannabis Inc. has recalled one lot of their Truro CBD 3:2 510 Vape Cartridge cannabis extract due to a labelling error.

The product was only sold through authorized retailers in Saskatchewan, and online to registered medical clients.

The recall was due to a labelling error in which the product was listed as having “CBC” instead of CBD.

To date, neither Truro Cannabis Inc. or Health Canada have received any complaints related to the recalled lot. Health Canada nor Truro Cannabis Inc. have also not received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled cannabis product lot.

There were 1,009 units of the recalled product sold from August 27, 2021 to February 23, 2022.

Health Canada says no action is required by consumers, but if they wish to return any of these products, to contact the retail store where they were purchased.

Health Canada also operates an online complaint form for Canadians to report any health or safety complaints related to the use of this cannabis product or any other cannabis product.

Mislabelling is one of the most common reasons for cannabis product recalls in Canada.
