Incorrect labelling triggers recall of pre-rolls on Ontario

| Staff

Peace Naturals has recalled one lot of their Spinach Blue Dream dried cannabis pre-rolls due to mislabeled THC and CBD levels.

The products were packaged in March and sold through the Ontario Cannabis Store.

The THC total labelled on the pre-rolls is lower (45mg) than the actual THC total (164mg) and the CBD is listed as 67 mg when the correct amount is zero.

According to Health Canada, Peace Naturals Project Inc. has received six complaints related to the incorrect cannabinoid values on the product label. Health Canada has not received any complaints related to the recalled lot. Neither Health Canada nor Peace Naturals Project Inc. has received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled cannabis product.

13,229 units of the recalled product were sold from April 13 to July 9, 2021.
