A large greenhouse cannabis grower in Ontario will be offering cannabis through Saskatchewan-based micro producer North 40’s online medical cannabis platform.
Greenway Greenhouse cultivars Captain Kush and Blackberry Gelato will be sold under the Red Barn brand on the North 40 medical cannabis platform.
First licensed in 2019, North 40 has been steadily building a reputation for quality, small-batch cannabis products. In 2021, the micro producer also began offering sales for authorized medical patients. North 40 offers on-demand packaging and a direct-from-grower experience with an array of product choices.
Greenway Greenhouse Cannabis Corporation, first licensed in 2020, is located in Kingsville, Ontario.
Gord Nichol, the owner of North 40 says the partnership with Greenway will help provide more options for patients registered with him.
“Through personal relationships with the patients I supply, the cannabis I grow will not always be the product that they want and need from North 40,” said Gord Nichol, Founder and Master Grower (he prefers Lumberjack) at North 40 Cannabis. “Greenway Greenhouse provides a high-quality product that has impressed me in many aspects. As we bring on more patients, I am confident we can meet their needs in quality, quantity and value.”
Greenway expressed similar sentiments.
“We’re honoured to be welcomed onto the North 40 medical platform, and to be the first cultivator to provide dried cannabis other than Gord himself,” said Carl Mastronardi, President of Greenway Greenhouse in a company press release.
