New Brunswick RCMP seize cannabis, equipment following service call

The New Brunswick RCMP says it seized a large quantity of cannabis following a call for service in Grand Falls, NB, on January 10.

At approximately 8:40 am, members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP responded to a call for service at a residence on 2e Range Road, in Grand Falls. 

Upon their arrival, police entered the residence and discovered a large quantity of cannabis and other evidence indicating the cultivation of more cannabis than what is legally permitted. 

Shortly after, a search warrant was obtained and executed, resulting in the seizure of a significant amount of cannabis and other items.

Edmundston’s Integrated Enforcement Unit and the Grand Falls Police Force are assisting with the investigation.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
